This is the best riad ever. I dont understand the spanish people below as the riad is only 10 minutes from the square if you walk correctly. By taxi it is only 2 minutes and it will cost you 20 Dirham! The owner and his help will do everything to help you and will even arrange someone to pick you up for free to go to a restaurant. The breakfast is the biggest and best ever and we really loved it. This riad is the best ever and I really cant stand people lying about it as the spanish people really did!

Thank you Dorothee & Alain for a fabulous holiday. We had a great 5 days enjoying your beautifully furnished, very clean and comfortable home. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful, your maps of how to navigate to the main square, including restaurant recommendations were extremely helpful, afternoon breaks reading books on your roof terrace were a joy, having you organise the tours and taxis we asked for was much appreciated. We have no hesitation in recommending Riad Eloise to anyone looking for a good value, quality stay in Marrakech.

It's a very nice raid, the owners and employees are nice and helpfull. The riad is not in the touristique hotspot but nearby the entrance of the souks and some good restaurants located in that area. We walked trough the souks to get to the main square, which was a nice walk and took about 10/15 minutes.
The riad is close by a mosque which wakes you up early in the morning. But that's probably the case at most places within the Medina :-) At the end of the week I was quite used to it.

It was clean, Amina the housekeeper could not do enough for us. The roof terrace was very nice. The rooms were good, however see next comment.
On the second day of our stay, we came back to find the bedroom ceiling had collapsed. The ceiling rose had just been plastered in and had fallen off. This did some serious damage to the furniture, if we had been under this, we could have been seriously injured, we took photographs. The housekeeper was distraught about it all, she took care of the place well. The manager came and was aggressive at the outset, we changed rooms and he brought a bottle of wine claiming it was 50 euros as a placater. He was desperate for us to delete the pictures, demanding so as if it was right. I checked then wine online it was £4.98 in the uk. When speaking to his business partner he assumed we could not understand French and said insulting things about us. A long story short, we got a new room for free for the stay. His attitude was the real problem.

We had a wonderful Christmas at this hotel. the staff was incredibly helpful, recommending local restaurants and helping with any practical needs. the room was beautiful and well-maintained, with daily cleaning. the breakfast was delicious and varied each day. the location was perfect, just a short walk to the main square and surrounded by a peaceful atmosphere. We also enjoyed the rooftop terrace, especially the jacuzzi for relaxing after a long day.
The TV in our room was not working properly and the Wi-Fi was a bit unreliable. It would have been helpful to have more information about the hotel's amenities upon arrival, such as room locks, dinner options, and the availability of a bar.
